Nailed down one of the trickiest deals in my career, but damn, it feels good! Blessed to be able to help one of my best friends and his family with their first home.
This was a real fixer-upper, every inch of this home needs to be updated, repaired or remodeled. But every ounce of sweat and dollar he spends will be paid back with dividends! This property sets on almost an acre of prime flat land. Typically lenders avoid loans on homes in this condition, which prevents buyers from getting a great deal. I connected them with one of our preferred lenders that locked in an FHA 203(k) loan. This loan allows buyers to get that fixer and finance a portion of the repairs! We jumped through hoops, laughed in the face of challenges, and outplayed the all-cash investors who were nipping at the heels for this property. Big congrats to my clients, and I cant wait to see how they turn this diamond in the rough into a home run investment!
